Etihad Airways has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al Etihad Payments, a subsidiary of the Central Bank of the UAE, to offer benefits to holders of Jaywan Royal cards.
Under the agreement, Jaywan Royal cardholders using Jaywan debit or credit cards will receive a discount on Comfort and Deluxe fares across Etihad’s network when booking through etihad.com.
Cardholders will also access Business Check-in and Priority Boarding.
Jaywan operates as the UAE’s domestic card scheme and is issued by financial institutions across the country. The scheme is accepted at payment channels nationwide.

“Our vision for Jaywan extends beyond everyday transactions; it’s about enriching the lives of UAE residents. This partnership with Etihad Airways brings this vision to life, offering Jaywan Royal cardholders uniquely rewarding travel experiences that are thoughtfully designed to provide genuine value,” Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor of Banking Operations and Support Services at CBUAE and Chairman of Al Etihad Payments said in a statement.
“Our collaboration represents a commitment to building more customer-focused and interconnected infrastructure across the UAE. Partnering with Al Etihad Payments enables us to reinforce our role in supporting the UAE’s strategic growth and integration across sectors, while rewarding loyal travellers,” Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways added.
The partnership forms part of Etihad’s strategy to work with institutions that aim to deliver customer loyalty and contribute to the UAE’s position as a hub for business and tourism.
