The UAE’s Fuel Price Follow-Up Committee has approved a modest increase in petrol prices for June, averaging around 8%, alongside a cut to diesel prices effective Monday 1 June 2026.
Super 98 petrol will rise by 29 fils to Dh3.95 per litre, up from Dh3.66 in May. Special 95 climbs 28 fils to Dh3.83, from Dh3.55, and E-Plus 91 also rises 28 fils to Dh3.76, from Dh3.48. Diesel moves in the opposite direction, falling from Dh4.69 to Dh4.33 per litre.
The UAE has operated a market-linked fuel pricing mechanism since 2015, with the committee setting prices monthly based on global crude benchmarks.
