Mohamed Alabbar has said he cannot sleep and that 98 per cent of his mental preoccupation is focused on what artificial intelligence will do to him – a concern he says far exceeds his anxiety over both the Iran war and his business, each of which accounts for just 1 per cent.
Alabbar said he contacted his chief executive last week to tell him he was struggling to sleep. “I called the CEO, and I said, I really can’t sleep,” he said.
Mohamed Alabbar says he cannot sleep over AI as he runs 12 agents simultaneously
The CEO responded by sending him a “chart” breaking down what was on his mind. According to Alabbar, the chart showed 1 per cent of his brain was worried about the Iran war, 1 per cent about his business, and 98 per cent about what AI was going to do to him.
The reason for that anxiety, Alabbar indicated, was direct: he is already running 12 AI agents at the same time. “I have 12 AI agents working for me,” he said. “I have 12 AI agents running at the same time.”
