Careem Pay, the payments platform within the Careem app, has expanded its remittance service to include Türkiye and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, allowing residents of the United Arab Emirates to transfer money to bank accounts in both countries.
The addition brings the total number of countries served by Careem Pay’s remittance offering to more than 35, covering corridors that include India, Pakistan, Europe, the UK and Egypt.
Transfers to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Türkiye are deposited into recipients’ bank accounts within 5 to 10 minutes.
UAE residents can now send money to Türkiye, Saudi Arabia via Careem Pay
The service supports a maximum limit of AED 150,000 per transfer to Türkiye and AED 36,000 per transfer to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, covering both routine and larger transactions.
Careem Plus members pay zero fees and receive member rates when sending money abroad.

The expansion targets two remittance dynamics.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a remittance player with cross-border money flows. The government’s Vision 2030 programme is pushing to increase financial inclusion, and bank account transfers remain the dominant method.
For Türkiye, the market is driven by an estimated 6.5 million Turkish citizens living abroad. The UAE is a host economy for transfers of high-order value. Demand for transfers that arrive on time and without disruption in this corridor is high, and Careem Pay has positioned itself to serve it.
UAE residents can use the new corridors by updating the Careem app and selecting “Pay” from the home screen.
