The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has issued a warning to private sector companies across the UAE to exercise caution and implement precautions at work on Thursday and Friday, December 18 and 19, due to expected weather conditions.
The Ministry emphasised the importance of safeguarding the health and safety of workers, with attention on outdoor work sites where continuing operations may be challenging.
The statement stressed the need to ensure that occupational health and safety requirements are met during work and while commuting to and from work sites.
Private sector companies in all sectors across the UAE must take all precautions during the two-day period as weather conditions are expected to affect operations.
The Ministry’s call comes as part of efforts to protect workers from potential hazards associated with the weather forecast for the week.
