The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that Emirati citizens are permitted to travel to Lebanon effective 29 June 2026.
The ministry said registration through the Tawaajudi service is compulsory before travel and that citizens cannot leave UAE ports of entry without completing the process. Requirements include filling in all personal data, specifying an address in Lebanon, and providing emergency contact numbers. Failure to register could result in travel being suspended and legal consequences.
Citizens are also required to notify authorities upon their return via Tawaajudi, update their details if any information changes while in Lebanon, and contact the ministry through its dedicated hotline for Emiratis abroad at +97180024 in the event of an emergency.
