The Roads and Transport Authority has announced the temporary closure of the bus and taxi service road at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station, with works expected to run until the end of 2026.
In a post on X, the RTA said the closure is necessary to facilitate expansion works at the station. A traffic management plan has been put in place to maintain access for public transport users and keep road users safe throughout the period.
The authority advised commuters to follow directional signage, observe posted speed limits, and allow extra travel time to avoid delays.
Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall is one of the busiest stations on the Dubai Metro Red Line, serving the Downtown Dubai area and a high volume of daily passengers.
