flydubai has signed the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Safety Leadership Charter, joining more than 150 airlines in the initiative.
Chief Executive Officer Ghaith Al Ghaith signed the charter on behalf of the Dubai-based carrier.
The signing demonstrates the airline’s commitment to maintaining standards of safety across its operations.

The IATA Safety Leadership Charter is an initiative developed in collaboration with industry stakeholders. The charter promotes safety through leadership engagement and aims to cultivate safety awareness, trust and accountability across all levels of airline operations.

By embedding the Charter’s guiding principles into our daily operations and sharing our experiences, insights and best practices, we aim to further contribute towards a stronger and safer global aviation industry. The charter’s guiding principles include leading a commitment to safety through words and actions, fostering safety awareness among the airline’s organisation and conducting assessments and improvements of safety culture.
