Emirates will mark Valentine’s Day with themed food, drinks and entertainment for passengers travelling on February 14, alongside lounge offerings in Dubai and worldwide.
The airline said every customer flying in Economy and Premium Economy Class on February 14 will receive a mini gift box containing a raspberry chocolate brownie. Aircraft cabins will also feature red mood lighting.
First and Business Class passengers will receive chocolate brownies and mini raspberry ganache tarts with heart decorations. On Airbus A380 aircraft, the onboard lounge will serve lemon and raspberry cupcakes, profiteroles and mini tarts.

In First Class, passengers will be welcomed with a glass of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009. Emirates said the cuvée, first produced in 1959, highlights pinot noir with aromas of raspberry, cherry, cassis, fig, rose, orange oil, saffron, gingerbread and liquorice.
Business Class passengers will be served Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, which the airline said has flavours of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, with floral notes and spice.
In Emirates lounges in Dubai between February13 and 15, First Class customers will be offered desserts including raspberry vanilla cake, pistachio strawberry cake and red velvet cake. Mocktails and cocktails such as “Love Potion” and “Whispered Hearts” will also be available.
Moët & Chandon rosé Champagne will be paired with canapés including marinated lobster en feuilleté and truffle cream éclat.
Business Class customers will be served red berries crunchy cake, strawberry and pistachio tart and raspberry choux. An ice cream cart will offer strawberry cheesecake ice cream and raspberry and rose sorbet.
Across Emirates lounges worldwide, the airline said customers will see themed dishes and drinks, including heart-shaped ravioli in Rome, cupcakes in Cairo and chocolate-dipped strawberries in Sri Lanka.
Romantic films and music on Emirates ice
Passengers will also be able to watch more than 100 romantic films on the Emirates ice system. A ‘Love Stories’ folder will include titles such as Regretting You, Workmates, Tyler Perry’s Finding Joy, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Notebook, Notting Hill and the Bridget Jones film collection.
The TV section will feature a ‘Period Dramas’ folder including Sense & Sensibility, Pride & Prejudice and Sanditon. Korean dramas including Guardian: The Lonely & Great God, Lovely Runner and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim will also be available.
Music options will include playlists such as Spotify’s Valentine’s Day Love Mixtape and Emirates’ Romantic Moments.
Emirates said the programme aims to “celebrate love in the sky” across cabins, lounges and its entertainment system.
