The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has launched a drone delivery route in Nad Al Sheba in collaboration with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and operator Keeta Drone.
The service allows drones to deliver food orders from restaurants and cafés at Nad Al Sheba Avenue Mall to residents in the area. The delivery landing point is at Nad Al Sheba Grand Mosque.
Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, officially launched the route by overseeing the first drone delivery in Nad Al Sheba, in the presence of senior officials from various government entities and stakeholders in Dubai, including Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai; Badr Bu Hanad, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis; and Sultan Butti bin Mejren and Mr. Sayed Ismail Mohammed Al Hashmi, Acting Executive Director of the Corporate Support Services Sector in Dubai Municipality.

Keeta Drone operates 4 routes in Dubai Silicon Oasis. The Nad Al Sheba route is an expansion within Keeta Drone’s UAE network, connecting residential and commercial zones through contactless deliveries. The initiative operates under the regulatory framework of DCAA.
