SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor marine life theme park, has opened the second edition of its SeaBloom Celebration, running daily until April 26, 2026.
The season-long programme brings together a live show, sand art installations, educational activities and character meet-and-greet experiences across the park’s eight realms, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with marine life during the spring season.
Upon entering the Abu Dhabi Ocean, guests are greeted by sand art sculptures centred on the journey of a sea turtle. The installation forms part of the park’s effort to use seasonal programming to draw attention to the natural world.
SeaBloom 2026: What to expect at SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi this spring
In the park’s “One Ocean” realm, a live show – new to this edition – features SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s characters dressed in spring attire. “The changing season brings renewed energy beneath the waves,” the show’s theme communicates, as characters take guests through an account of how marine life responds to spring. Following the show, visitors are invited to take part in meet-and-greet moments with the characters.
The SeaBloom Curiosities Booklet, which made its debut in the first edition, has returned for 2026. Priced at AED 20 – with a reduction for Annual Passholders – the booklet guides younger visitors through all eight realms of the park. At each stop, children uncover what the park describes as “hidden animal secrets” and collect one of eight stickers. Those who complete the booklet receive a special reward.
A key draw this season is the collection of newborn and newly hatched residents across several realms:
In the Antarctica realm, guests can observe newly hatched penguin chicks. In Polar Ocean, a sea lion pup is on view at Rocky Point. In Tropical Ocean, the aviary is home to newly born tropical birds. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s Educators are present at each location to speak with guests about the animals and their development.
