Lana, the new AI news platform in the Arab region โ owned by Purple People Media FZ LLC โ has launched its English-language mobile application as part of its digital publishing network.
The app, titled Lana News, is available on iOS and Android and provides English-language coverage of regional and global stories. The app supports iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch devices.
It allows users to access news across sections including News, Sport, Business, Tech, Lifestyle, Culture and Travel. Push notifications, topic-based feeds and sharing functions are included within the platform.

Lanaโs English-language website, en.lanatime.com , mirrors the editorial structure of its Arabic title. The launch of the mobile edition extends the organisationโs reach to English-speaking audiences and consolidates its operations across web and mobile.

The app is free to download. Purple People Media, headquartered in Dubai, manages the Lana brand and its content operations.
The company initially launched its flagship AI-powered Arabic news platform aimed at expanding regional coverage. A corresponding Arabic-language application is also available on iOS and Android devices under the same developer name.
The two editions form part of a wider cross-language strategy that connects Arabic and English news audiences under a single digital ecosystem.
The app launch adds to Lanaโs existing digital presence, which includes its website, newsletter and multimedia reports.
