Gold prices rose on Monday to their highest point in more than three months, with spot gold gaining 0.7% to $4,636.34 per ounce by 00:15 GMT, a level not seen since 15 May. US gold futures rose 0.3% to $4,694.80.
Other precious metals followed the move higher. Silver advanced 0.8% to $69.51 per ounce, platinum gained 0.4% to $1,885.38, and palladium edged up 0.1% to $1,350.53.
