flydubai will begin daily non-stop flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Pokhara International Airport (PHH) from 23 September 2026, making it the first UAE carrier to operate the route.
The service marks flydubai’s second destination in Nepal, complementing its existing operations to Kathmandu, which the airline has served since 2009. Over that period, flydubai says it has carried approximately four million passengers to Nepal and scaled its Kathmandu service to five daily flights during peak periods, with seat capacity growing more than 12 times since launch.
Pokhara, Nepal’s second-largest city, sits at the gateway to the Annapurna range and serves as the country’s main base for trekking and adventure tourism. flydubai says the new route will open direct access to western Nepal for travellers from the GCC, wider Middle East, and Europe.

By providing a direct link to Nepal’s second largest city and another gateway to the market, we are proud to leverage Dubai’s position as a world-class aviation hub to open new avenues of accessibility for both business and leisure travellers,” Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai said in a statement.

This new route is strategically positioned to cater to strong demand from the UAE and the wider flydubai network, offering convenient, reliable connections for travellers coming from the GCC, the Middle East and Europe, as well as further afield through our codeshare partnership and interline partners. Passengers on this route can look forward to experiencing our high-quality service, whether they travel in Business Class with its added comfort and privacy, or in our elevated Economy Class experience,” Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai added.
Flights will operate from Terminal 3 at DXB. Outbound, FZ 1165 departs Dubai at 12:00 and arrives in Pokhara at 18:15. The return, FZ 1166, leaves Pokhara at 19:15 and lands in Dubai at 22:00. The service forms part of flydubai’s codeshare arrangement with Emirates, giving passengers access to a combined network on a single ticket with through baggage check-in.
Return Business Class fares from Dubai start from AED 5,000; Economy Class Lite from AED 1,900. From Pokhara, Business Class fares start from NPR 190,000 and Economy Class Lite from NPR 91,000.
