Emirates is recruiting engineers and technical staff across multiple countries, with dedicated hiring events scheduled from July through August 2026 in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Indonesia, alongside open roles in Europe and Dubai.
The recruitment drive covers a range of aviation engineering positions: aircraft technicians, licensed aircraft engineers, senior mechanics, workshop cabin technicians, and warehouse and logistics staff. Events are also planned in London on 11 and 12 August, and in Istanbul on 25 and 26 August, targeting licensed aircraft engineers in both cities.
In India alone, sessions are spread across Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Ahmedabad, covering roles from licensed aircraft engineer to warehouse and logistics assistant. Hong Kong joins the schedule in early August for aircraft technician interviews.
In the UAE, Emirates has posted 16 engineering-related roles based primarily at its Dubai hub. Open positions include lead aircraft mechanic, procurement manager, warranty officer, workshop maintenance engineer and engineering type instructor, with application deadlines running through June and July.
The airline describes its Dubai engineering centre as one of the world’s largest aircraft maintenance facilities, covering 55 hectares with 12 hangars, capacity for multiple Airbus A380s simultaneously, and engine test facilities rated up to 115,000 pounds of thrust.
The hiring push follows a record year for the Emirates Group. The company reported a profit before tax of Dh24.4 billion for FY2025-26, with revenue of Dh150.5 billion and cash assets of Dh59.6 billion. Headcount across Emirates and dnata grew 8 per cent to 130,919 employees over the same period.
