The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that Monday and Tuesday, 1 and 2 December 2025, will be a paid holiday for all employees in the private sector across the UAE.
The two-day break marks the 54th Eid Al Etihad, the UAE’s national day celebration.
The announcement applies to workers throughout the country’s private sector establishments.

MoHRE issued a statement extending congratulations to the leadership and people of the UAE, as well as all residents in the country. The Ministry noted that the nation would celebrate “this national occasion with pride, loyalty, and unity.”
The holiday will allow private sector employees to participate in the celebrations marking more than five decades since the formation of the UAE.
