The UAE Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the spring break schedule for students and staff across schools and universities in the UAE.
The announcement followed approval by the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council (EHCD). The ministries said the break will apply across the education sector in the country.
Spring break dates across UAE education sector
According to the announcement, spring break will begin on Monday, March 9, 2026. The break will continue until Sunday, March 22, 2026.
The break will apply to students and academic and administrative staff, and will cover public and private schools and universities across the UAE.
“Classes and official working hours will resume on Monday, 23 March 2026,” the announcement said.
