A new King’s College Riyadh campus will open in the SEDRA community in north Riyadh in the third quarter of 2027 following a partnership between ROSHN Group and Cognita Middle East.

The school, named King’s College Riyadh SEDRA, will be built within ROSHN Group’s SEDRA masterplan and will operate as a British-curriculum all-through school. It will initially accept students from pre-school to Year 9 and will expand to Year 13 in later years.

King’s College Riyadh SEDRA will follow the National Curriculum for England, adapted to the local context. Students will work towards internationally recognised qualifications including IGCSEs, A-Levels, BTECs, or combined pathways. Arabic language and Saudi national subjects will form part of the curriculum.

The school will be located in SEDRA, a community that is home to more than 3,000 families. The development includes schools, parks, mosques and retail outlets within walking distance. The new campus will operate alongside existing educational facilities in the community and will provide continuity for current King’s College Riyadh students.

Facilities at the campus will include a 25-metre six-lane swimming pool, an eight-court sports hall, two padel courts, one floodlit football pitch, two basketball courts, a theatre and performing arts centre, science and technology laboratories, music and art studios, and specialist libraries.
