DR Congo advanced to the round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a 3–1 victory over Uzbekistan in Atlanta on the final day of Group 11 fixtures.
The result lifts DR Congo to 4 points, finishing third in the group and securing a place among the eight best third-placed sides across the tournament’s opening phase. That was enough to book a knockout-stage berth.
Uzbekistan end the group stage without a point, having lost all three matches, and are eliminated.
DR Congo will face Group 12 winners England in the round of 32 on 1 July.
