The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC), one of the region’s largest gatherings of pop culture fans, has confirmed a change of dates for its 2026 edition. The event will now be held from September 11 to 13, 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, organisers announced.
According to the announcement, the September Comic Con dates were “carefully selected to ensure the best possible experience” for attendees. Organisers said the move to September would provide “additional flexibility for all participants,” including fans, exhibitors, celebrity guests, and comic creators.

Organisers confirmed that the September edition will feature a line-up of celebrity guests, comic creators, and exhibitors, in keeping with the format of previous years. Further details on tickets, attractions, talent announcements, performances, and competitions are set to follow.
“Stay tuned for more updates on tickets, attractions, new talent announcements, performances and competitions,” organisers said in an Instagram post.
Ticket-holders who have already made purchases have been reassured that no action is required on their part. “If you have already purchased your tickets, your tickets will remain valid for the September dates,” the statement confirmed.
