ALAS Emirates Ready Mix, the UAE’s largest ready-mix concrete supplier in Abu Dhabi, has signed an agreement with Dubai Industrial City, part of TECOM Group PJSC, to develop a new production facility at the manufacturing and logistics hub.

The site, spanning over 160,000 sq ft, will house batching plants designed for lower power consumption alongside administrative and operational buildings.

The facility is expected to reach a production capacity of up to 400 cubic metres of concrete per hour. Construction is scheduled for completion in Q3 2026, with operations set to begin in the same quarter.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Saud Abu Alshawareb, Executive Vice President of Industrial at TECOM Group PJSC, on behalf of Dubai Industrial City; Saif Mubarak Fadel Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Bin Fadel Holding; Petr Celis, CEO of the ALAS Construction Materials Division, and senior representatives from leading companies in the construction sector.

ALAS Emirates Ready Mix Dubai facility to support UAE construction sector growth

ALAS selected Dubai Industrial City for its proximity to Jebel Ali Port, Al Maktoum International Airport, and an Etihad Rail freight terminal, positioning the facility as a link in both regional and international supply chains.

The district, established in 2004, is home to more than 1,100 customers and over 350 operational factories. Its masterplan covers sectors including base metals, machinery, minerals, food and beverage, transport, and chemicals.

Dubai Industrial City sits within TECOM Group’s network of business districts, which includes Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Production City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Design District (d3), and Dubai Science Park.

The new facility forms part of ALAS Emirates Ready Mix’s strategy to broaden its footprint across the UAE and meet demand from the country’s construction sector, with production processes aligned to international standards.
