VOX Cinemas has launched its first Festive Fun event, running from December 5 to January 7 across locations in the UAE.
The event features three components: Festive Films, Festive Funfair, and Winter Lounge by VOX Cinemas.
The cinema chain will screen re-releases of films including Annie (1982), Arthur Christmas, Elf, Happy Feet, Jumanji (1995), Labyrinth, Matilda (1996), The Adventure of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, The Grinch (2018), The Polar Express, The Wizard of Oz and Wonka.
VOX Cinemas brings Christmas films and Santa meet-and-greets to UAE
The films will show at eight locations: City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Festival City Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Palm Jumeirah Mall, The Galleria Al Maryah Island, Wafi Mall, and Yas Mall. Tickets start from AED 35 and include hot chocolate and candy cane.
Select locations will host live entertainment including gingerbread making, face painting, and photo opportunities throughout the season.
THEATRE Cafรฉ at Mall of the Emirates has been transformed into Winter Lounge by VOX Cinemas, featuring more than 10 attractions.
The attractions include a nutcracker-lined entrance, food hut, Santa’s mailbox, photo opportunities, a Christmas tree and Santa’s chair.
Children can participate in face painting and write letters to Santa. The venue also offers an Interactive Festive Digital Puzzle.
Santa Claus will appear for meet-and-greet sessions from December 20-25, 12-8 p.m. Entry to the Nice List requires presentation of a VOX Cinemas ticket.
Winter Lounge by VOX Cinemas opens at Mall of the Emirates with holiday menu
Winter Lounge by VOX Cinemas will serve a holiday menu. Items include Roast Turkey Roulade with Traditional Stuffing and Yorkshire Pudding and Hot Chocolates in Gingerbread, Peppermint, or Spiced Orange flavours.
The venue offers build-your-own gingerbread kits, Christmas Cupcakes and chocolates including Cinnamon Almond Drops, White Chocolate Dragรฉes, Dark Peppermint Chocolates, and Spiced Orange Chocolates.
Hot Chocolate Bombs feature chocolate shapes including Penguin, Santa, Snowflake, and Snowman that melt into drinks.
Winter Lounge operates daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at THEATRE Cafรฉ, Mall of the Emirates. No advance booking is required.
Sweet Inc. will sell candy canes, cake pops, and a Festive Popcorn Tub at the Candy Bar.
