The Petshop has launched a Super App in the UAE, introducing a single digital platform for pet care management. The app brings together pet profiles, shopping, service bookings, records and community access within one system.
The platform allows users to manage multiple aspects of pet ownership through one account. These include purchasing products, booking services, storing pet records, accessing guidance and tracking community activities. The aim is to reduce the use of separate channels previously required for these tasks.
Each pet is assigned an individual profile. The profile records age, diet, health information, behaviour and life stage. This information can be updated as needs change and accessed by households with more than one pet.

Data from pet profiles is used to adjust recommendations, reminders and service options. These functions are based on recorded information rather than general care schedules.
Services available through the app include grooming, boarding, relocation, aquatics and wellness. Users can view availability, book appointments and review service history through a single booking process. This applies across The Petshop’s locations in the UAE.
Pet records and documents are stored within the app. Security measures include verification for digital documentation. The system uses usage data to issue reminders and guidance without sharing personal information or issuing standard prompts.
“Over the past fifteen years, we’ve grown alongside the pet community in the UAE and seen how pet ownership has evolved. For pet families, care now depends on continuity, accurate information, and services that match real life, not isolated transactions. This app brings those elements into one place with a structure that supports reliable care,” Amr Hazem Youssef, CEO of The Petshop said in a statement.
“Pets have individual needs that change over time, and those needs shape daily decisions around routines, health, and wellbeing. By keeping information organised and connecting services within one system, we can reduce friction for pet families and deliver greater consistency across the experience. This allows us to raise standards responsibly, while keeping the process simple for the people who rely on us,” he added.

The Petshop Super App is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Founded in 2011, The Petshop began as a family-run business in Dubai and has expanded to 11 stores across the UAE. This includes two Megastores located in Dubai Investment Park and Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. The company also operates an online platform offering more than 12,000 products.
Additional services include pet relocation, grooming for cats and dogs, and aquatics services. The company supports rescue partners through adoption days and food donations, with 12,000 kg of food donated in the previous year.
