Ibn Battuta Mall has launched a step-counting rewards programme that converts routine shopping visits into an incentive-based activity, running through Dubai Summer Surprises season and beyond.

Called Walk to Unlock, the campaign began on 5 June 2026 and runs until 1 August 2026, with a Finale Party Day on August 9.

Shoppers download the FITZE app, follow a guided indoor walking route marked by motivational floor stickers across the mall’s six themed courts, and redeem rewards once they hit step milestones of 6,000, 8,000, or 12,000.

Offers span dining, fashion, wellness, and entertainment, from tenants including Paul Bakery and Restaurant, Joyalukkas Jewellery, The Coterie, and Fun City. The full list is available in the app.

The campaign runs daily during mall operating hours and overlaps with Dubai Summer Surprises, which begins July 3, 2026.

Alongside the ongoing step challenge, Ibn Battuta Mall is hosting a series of indoor runs. The first is on Sunday, July 5, with race distances of 2.5km, 5km, and 10km, starting at 7:00am. Further run dates are set for August 9, September 13, and October 4, 2026.
