Dubai will see the opening of Rooh by Priya in February 2026 at Jewel of the Creek.
The restaurant is led by Priya Joseph, a chef trained in Singapore. The concept focuses on Indian cuisine presented through shared plates and a tapas bar format.
Rooh by Priya will operate along the Jewel of the Creek waterfront promenade. The location offers views across the creek and access from the surrounding residential, hospitality, marina, retail and business areas.
Dubai waterfront restaurant to feature shared plates and tapas bar
Jewel of the Creek is a mixed-use development in Dubai inspired by Deira Creek, which has historically served as a centre for trade and commerce. The development combines residential units, hospitality projects, retail outlets and business facilities.
Chef Priya Joseph has professional experience across Indian, Southeast Asian, Mediterranean and European cuisines. She has been recognised among leading women chefs in Asia and has worked in kitchens under Michelin-starred chefs. Her approach at Rooh focuses on flavour clarity and controlled use of spices.
The menu is structured around dishes intended for sharing. Cooking techniques include slow-prepared masalas, smoking methods and the addition of spices at the table. The restaurant will also feature a bar serving pan-Indian bar food with global influences alongside a cocktail programme.
Rooh by Priya will include interactive service elements such as a chai trolley and a dessert trolley. These elements are intended to encourage extended dining.
Rooh by Priya backed by women investors
The restaurant is backed by women investors and operates as a woman-led business. The dining space is designed to support daytime dining, evening service and group gatherings.

Rooh by Priya is scheduled to open in February 2026 at Jewel of the Creek, Dubai.
