Emaar has announced its New Year’s Eve celebration for Downtown Dubai, with festivities running from December 31 through January 7, 2025.
The celebration will take place across multiple locations, including the Burj Khalifa lake, Dubai Mall promenade, the façade of Burj Khalifa and the sky above the tower.
The show will feature live performances, visual displays, moving platforms, aerial performances, fireworks and technology elements. A parade will move through Downtown Dubai with floats, performers and puppets.

“This New Year’s Eve, Dubai will transform into a stage of extraordinary wonder. We are creating a celebration on an unprecedented scale, with a stage larger than ever before and performances that will astonish and inspire. Every moment, every light and every spectacle has been designed to capture the spirit, creativity and ambition of our city. It will be a night for the world to witness and remember,” Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar said in a statement.
Burj Park will serve as a ticketed vantage point for the celebration. Visitors with tickets will have access to views of the Burj Khalifa fireworks, light and laser shows and live performances.
This year, Burj Park has partnered with Frontstage, a group company of Red Chilies Entertainment, the production house founded by Shah Rukh Khan. Ticket holders at Burj Park will have access to performances and entertainment provided through this collaboration.
Families attending Burj Park will have access to live entertainment, children’s workshops and food trucks and stalls. Entry will be managed through pre-sized access badges.
Burj Park tickets on sale for Dubai New Year’s Eve 2024 at AED950 per adult
Burj Park tickets are available for purchase through the official website.
Adult tickets cost AED950 plus VAT. Children aged 5 to 12 can attend for AED550 plus VAT. Entry for children under 5 is free, though a ticket must be reserved for their access badge.
All guests must purchase tickets online in advance.
New Year’s Eve festivities across Downtown Dubai remain open to all visitors. Burj Park offers a ticketed option for those seeking views and access to the location’s entertainment programme.
The celebration will be available to global audiences through live streaming. Emaar describes the event as a celebration of Dubai’s culture and development as a hub for creativity and entertainment.
