Global Village will open its 30th season on Wednesday at 6pm, marking three decades of operation as a destination for shopping, dining and entertainment in the region.

The venue will run until May 10, 2026 and will feature 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, with more than 3,500 shopping outlets, over 250 dining options, more than 40,500 shows and more than 200 rides, games and attractions.

The season will include over 250 dining options, including the Restaurant Plaza, which houses 11 double-storey restaurants. The plaza is located next to the Carnaval area and overlooks the Falcon Stage.

Fiesta Street will return with more space for its kiosks. The Railway Market has been rebranded as Dessert District, whilst Road of Asia will be renamed Asia Boulevard. Happiness Street will feature a canopy.

The venue will offer over 200 rides, games and attractions, most of which are located at Carnaval. Rides for the season include York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Desert Dashers, Cape Glider, Rio Rocket and The Little Wonderers.

The Dragon Kingdom will be added, featuring a walk-through experience with 11 themed rooms. The Horror Hotel, formerly known as House of Fear, will return.

The area between the Egypt pavilion and the Iran pavilion will be transformed into Gardens of the World, featuring flowers and landmark icons. A Season 30 cake monument will be located at Arabian Square.

Over 40,500 shows featuring 450 performers from more than 30 nationalities will take place throughout the season. A stunt show, Fast Live Spectacular, will debut, featuring stunt teams, Tokyo-style drifting, motorbike jumps, fire, explosions and cars.

The Main Stage will host shows including Retumbar, Red Hot Chili Pipers, Mayumana, Burn the Floor, Dhol Foundation and Swan Lake, as well as productions by the Global Village Entertainment team such as Haunted House, Boom Bollywood, Slam and Scatty Chapati. The Kids Theatre will feature performances from Care Bears and PJ Masks.

A fire and light show will debut next to Dragon Lake. A light show will be introduced in front of the main stage with festoon lighting. Firework shows will take place every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.

The venue has introduced services across all parking zones and directional signs inside the park, along with Way Finding screens.

Tickets are available through the App, website Globalvillage.ae and ticketing gates at all entrances, with prices unchanged from the previous season.

The Weekday ticket is valid from Sunday to Wednesday, excluding public holidays, whilst the Any Day ticket offers access on any day, including public holidays. Tuesdays are reserved for families and ladies, except on public holidays.
