Dubai-born beachwear brand Bellaplage has announced a collaboration with UAE-based animal rescue organisation Six Hounds and Co, pledging to donate 50 per cent of all online sales on bellaplage.com throughout April. The funds will go towards the care, treatment and rehabilitation of abandoned animals.
The initiative comes as animal shelters across the UAE that are run by individuals face mounting pressure. The regional situation has led to expatriates returning to their home countries and leaving their pets behind. Shelters that operate without government funding face challenges due to a lack of financial support, alongside a growing number of rescue cases that require medical attention and care over extended periods. These shelters are funded by their operators and depend on community support.
Through the partnership, Bellaplage aims to use its platform and customer base to direct funds towards animals that have been abandoned or left without care.

Bellaplage was founded in Dubai and sells beachwear designed to be worn from the beach to other settings.
“Bellaplage was created around the idea of joy, confidence, and connection,” said Marilyne Morin, co-founder of Bellaplage. “Partnering with Six Hounds allows us to extend that vision beyond fashion, supporting a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. In moments like these, it feels important to use our platform in a way that can make a tangible difference in the lives of these animals.”
Co-founder Natalia Huber said: “As a brand, we have always believed in creating pieces that make people feel good. This initiative is about going a step further, turning that positive energy into something meaningful. Supporting Six Hounds felt like a natural and deeply personal choice for us.”
What is Six Hounds and Co?
Six Hounds and Co holds a UAE CSR licence and is registered with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE). The organisation carries out rescue work that includes neonatal care, emergency and long-term medical treatment, and the operation of a shelter funded through its own resources that is designed to resemble a home.
It also provides rehabilitation for animals that have been abandoned and abused, many of whom require treatment over extended periods before they are eligible for rehoming. Some of the animals in the care of Six Hounds have been with the organisation for more than three years and continue to receive medical treatment.
“This collaboration is a meaningful example of how hearts and brands can play a role beyond their core business,” said Anso Stander, founder of Six Hounds and Co. “Support like this directly impacts our ability to continue rescuing and treating animals, and to give them a second chance.”
Customers who purchase items through the Bellaplage website will contribute to the initiative without needing to take any additional steps. The donation is applied to all online sales made during April.
The collaboration will be accompanied by a campaign across the digital platforms of both Bellaplage and Six Hounds and Co. The campaign is intended to reach a wider audience and encourage participation from the community.
The partnership reflects a broader shift among lifestyle brands towards involvement in social and community causes, as consumers increasingly take note of how businesses operate beyond their products.
