Arada has announced a programme of New Year’s Eve celebrations across its Sharjah communities, with visitors now able to stay at Aljada’s attraction, the Nest Hotel, which has opened.
Starting at 7pm, New Year’s Eve activations will take place across Aljada, Masaar and Nasma Residences, welcoming residents and visitors.
Each destination offers an atmosphere and energy, with the countdown to midnight marked by a celebration of music, lights and community spirit.
Aljada festivities centred around Madar district
At Aljada, festivities will be centred around the Madar family entertainment district, featuring a line-up with the New Year countdown featuring a drone show followed by a fireworks display.
Celebrations will include DJ performances, roaming parades and mascots, a music band, gaming zones, arts and crafts for children, face painting, and a photo booth.
Masaar to feature drone-formed fireworks frame
At Masaar, the celebrations will feature a drone-formed fireworks frame as its headline spectacle.
Visitors can enjoy a full evening of family entertainment including DJ sets, live music, roaming parades and mascots, a gaming zone, arts and crafts, face painting, and a photo booth, offering an atmosphere set within a backdrop.
Nasma Residences will present a neighbourhood celebration tailored for families and residents of all ages. The programme will be held at Nasma Central Park, in front of Nasma Central, which will include entertainment such as live music, games, and family activities, fostering an environment at the heart of this community.
Nest Hotel by Arada offers New Year’s Eve packages
For the first time, guests can choose to stay at Nest Hotel, Arada’s smart, connected hotel located in the heart of Aljada, offering travellers a base from which to experience Sharjah.
The 395-room property is offering packages for families and couples for New Year’s Eve, allowing guests to stay within walking distance of Aljada’s drone show and fireworks. Packages start from AED446 per night, including breakfast and dinner, for couples and from AED733 for families.
“This year’s New Year’s Eve programmes across our communities are designed to bring people together through fun, accessible celebrations and family-friendly entertainment, as well as the introduction of Nest Hotel at Aljada, providing visitors with a convenient, well-connected base within walking distance of the celebrations. Together, these touchpoints create a seamless and engaging way for residents and visitors alike to welcome the New Year in a relaxed and memorable setting,” Amit Arora, Chief Operating Officer – Hospitality & Entertainment at Arada said in a statement.

All activities are free of charge and open to residents of each community as well as families from surrounding neighbourhoods.
Arada’s community management will work with Sharjah Police to manage traffic and ensure that public parking areas are available across all locations.
