Jacob & Co has released a timepiece named “Vantara” in recognition of Anant Ambani’s wildlife conservation initiative in Gujarat, India.
The watch features a hand-painted figurine of Anant Ambani at the centre of the dial.
A lion and a Bengal tiger appear alongside the figurine, representing the animals that the Vantara conservation programme works to protect.

The dial incorporates a camouflage motif constructed from 397 gemstones with a total weight of 21.98 carats. The stones include demantoid garnets, tsavorites, green sapphires, and white diamonds. Each stone was selected, cut, and set by hand.
The Vantara initiative operates as a wildlife rescue and conservation programme based in Gujarat. The organisation focuses on the protection and rehabilitation of species including lions and Bengal tigers.
The timepiece combines gemstone work with miniature painting. The camouflage pattern uses different gemstones to create contrast and movement across the dial surface.
Demantoid garnets provide green tones, tsavorites add colour depth, green sapphires introduce variation, and white diamonds contribute structure to the composition.
So, how much is ‘Vantara’ by Jacob&Co. valued at?
According to an Instagram post published on January 22, Watchopea reported the watch’s value at approximately $1.5 million.
The watch represents a collaboration between the watchmaker and the conservation project. The design elements reference the work carried out at the Vantara facility in Gujarat.
