The trailer for Euphoria Season 3 has been released ahead of the series’ return to HBO and HBO Max on April 12.
Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo and Dominic Fike will return for the season.
Barbie Ferreira, Storm Reid, Javon “Wanna” Walton and Austin Abrams will not appear in the season. Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, died in July 2023 at age 25.
Euphoria Season 2 concluded with the school play by Lexi (Apatow), which drew from the lives of her friends and classmates. Season 3 takes place years after the characters finish high school.
The season jumps ahead five years, showing Cassie (Sweeney) and Nate (Elordi) married and living in the suburbs. Rue (Zendaya) is in Mexico.
Character updates and cast additions
Levinson has stated that Jules (Schafer) attends art school and Maddy (Demie) works at a talent agency in Hollywood.
Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth and Marshawn Lynch join the cast for Season 3.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon and Sam Trammell also join the series.
