Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have finalised their divorce in Nashville court, with the settlement completed on Tuesday, January 6.
The couple announced their separation three months before the divorce was finalised.
The former couple married in June 2006 and were together for 19 years before Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, citing irreconcilable differences.
Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban waive alimony and child support in divorce settlement
According to People, the divorce settlement stipulates that both parties have agreed to waive alimony and child support payments. Court records show that both Kidman and Urban will be responsible for their own legal fees and expenses.
The settlement includes a parenting plan for the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. Both will primarily reside with Kidman.
Both parents will maintain joint responsibility for decisions in their daughters’ lives. The agreement states that Kidman and Urban “will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent,” and “will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”
Kidman appeared in one film last year, Holland, while also serving as an executive producer on the Australian TV show The Last Anniversary.
She is set to appear in several projects this year, including Practical Magic 2, and two TV shows, Scarpetta and Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
Urban released his album High in 2024. He spent much of last year touring North America, with his trek ending in mid-October.
