Arada has awarded a AED397 million construction contract to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) to build the Rove Aljada hotel cluster within the AED35 billion Aljada development in Sharjah.
Construction will begin immediately, with completion scheduled for December 2027. The project comprises four blocks housing the Rove Aljada hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences, positioned next to the upcoming Arada CBD commercial district and Madar Mall.
The Rove Aljada hotel will include 192 rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, co-working spaces, a 24-hour gym and an all-day dining restaurant.
Rove Aljada hotel construction begins with December 2027 completion target
Rove Home Aljada will offer 306 branded residences and serviced apartments with one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. The building features facilities including a gym, swimming pool, cafรฉ, restaurant, co-working and meeting spaces, and ground-floor retail.

The contract follows recent construction progress at Aljada. Work has commenced on Arada CBD, a 40-building commercial district.
In September, Arada awarded a AED2.2 billion contract to UNEC to build Madar Mall, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Both developments are located adjacent to Rove Aljada.
Rove Aljada: 192 hotel rooms and 306 residences under construction in Sharjah
Rove Aljada, owned by Arada and operated by Rove Hotels, will join other hospitality offerings at the master community. Nest Hotel, Arada’s hospitality brand, will open before the end of 2025.
The four-building Vida Aljada complex is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026. Both Vida Aljada and The Address Aljada will be owned by Arada and operated by Emaar Hospitality Group.
Aljada currently houses 20,000 residents and features over 25,000 homes alongside retail, entertainment, sports, education, wellness, hospitality and commercial facilities.
The development provides access to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Al Dhaid Road, Sharjah International Airport and the upcoming Etihad Rail station.
