The Dubai Land Department has launched the first phase of its Digital Sale service through the Dubai Now app as part of its participation in GITEX Global 2025.
The service enables customers to complete registration and sale procedures through the Dubai Now app. Users can finalise transactions using electronic signatures via the UAE Pass app at any time.
The initiative forms part of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033. It aims to support Dubai’s development of a knowledge-based economy, the Dubai Media Office said in a statement.
DLD Digital Sale service: What are the requirements and process for online Dubai property purchases?
The service allows users to create sale contracts, which sellers sign and send to buyers through the platform. Buyers transfer payment to the service’s account, and the ownership certificate is issued in the buyer’s name through the application.
The launch follows years of growth in Dubai’s real estate sector. The Digital Sale service is intended to sustain this momentum and move towards fully digital real estate services.
Both buyers and sellers must hold an Emirates ID and have an active UAE Pass account for verified signatures.
Properties must be located within freehold areas and categorised as a residential unit, commercial unit, or residential townhouse. The property must have a bank account inside the UAE, be free of any mortgage, and be owned by a single owner.
The Dubai Now app provides access to over 350 services from 50 government and private entities. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
At GITEX Global 2025, the Dubai Land Department is also displaying the Real Estate Instant Registration Platform, a dashboard showing data of property transactions across Dubai’s districts.
The department is presenting digital projects and initiatives designed to accelerate transformation, enhance efficiency, and improve customer experience in support of Dubai’s real estate growth.
