The Armani Group has announced a joint venture with Symphony Global LLC, the private investment company of Mohamed Alabbar, to develop a portfolio of Armani Hotels and Resorts in international destinations.
The agreement grants worldwide exclusivity for the development of Armani Hotels and Resorts. The joint venture will operate from Milan and Dubai, representing the creative, strategic and operational centres of the partnership.
The collaboration follows the operations of the Armani Hotel Dubai, located in the Burj Khalifa, and the Armani Hotel in Milan, located in Via Manzoni. Both properties have established themselves as reference points for design-driven hospitality since opening.

The partnership represents an expansion of a relationship that began with the opening of the Armani Hotel Dubai. An Armani Hotel in Diriyah Gate, Riyadh, is planned for 2027.
“I have long admired Giorgio Armani as one of the great visionaries of our time. His approach to design – timeless, disciplined, and deeply human – has influenced generations, including myself. What makes this partnership so powerful is the alignment of values: an uncompromising pursuit of quality, a deep respect for guests, and a belief that true luxury lies in how people feel. Through Symphony Global, we are proud to support the global expansion of the Armani hospitality vision with a long-term, exclusive commitment,” Mohamed Alabbar said in a statement.
The joint venture will develop two models of hotels: the Armani Hotel luxury model for establishments such as those operating in Milan and Dubai, and the Armani Hotel lifestyle model, which will target younger tourists, particularly in new continents. The business idea was shared personally with Mr. Armani himself.
The joint venture has a contractual term of 20 years, with a 10-year renewal period. It will follow a selective development strategy, focusing on hotels that meet criteria for location, design quality and hospitality services.
Joint venture to operate from Milan and Dubai with 20-year term
“This joint venture builds on a partnership that has already proven its strength over time. The success of the Armani Hotel Dubai and the Armani Hotel Milano, together with the forthcoming Armani Hotel in Diriyah Gate, Riyadh (planned for 2027), clearly demonstrates how our design philosophy and approach to hospitality resonate with today’s global luxury customer. This new reinforced partnership will allow us to further develop our vision in hospitality and lifestyle, guided by shared values of excellence, timelessness, respect for our clients, and a refined customer experience that feels both intuitive and enduring. Ultimately, the consolidation of our established collaboration with Mohamed Alabbar is part of long-term partnerships that have always characterised our company and the ‘Armani’ business model, such as the ones with Luxottica and L’Oréal, all of them great partners with a multi-decade perspective,” Giuseppe Marsocci, Chief Executive Officer of the Armani Group added.
Each project will be developed as a lifestyle environment, with Armani involved across architecture, interiors, furnishings, materials, lighting and service standards. All projects will reflect the core principles of the Armani aesthetic: clarity, balance and understated elegance, whilst responding to local contexts.
The Armani Group has experience in translating its aesthetic into residential and mixed-use projects in cities including New York, Miami and London.
Symphony Global’s development activities draw on Mohamed Alabbar’s expertise in creating destinations across the world, with projects recognised for combining commercial strength with long-term value and appeal.
