ADIPEC 2026 will host its largest-ever Asian contingent, with 353 companies and six dedicated country pavilions – China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea – confirmed for this year’s event in Abu Dhabi.
The Asian delegation joins more than 2,250 exhibitors across 16 halls and 30 international pavilions, where companies from across the global energy value chain will present technologies, infrastructure solutions and industrial capabilities. Participating organisations include Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC, Petronas, PTTEP, INPEX, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, CATL, Envision Energy, Mitsui & Corp and Essar Group, among others.
Asia will also feature heavily across the conference programme. Senior executives confirmed as speakers include Takayuki Ueda, Representative Director, President and CEO of INPEX; Rajarshi Gupta, MD and CEO of ONGC Videsh Ltd; Charlotte Wolff-Bye, VP and Group Chief Sustainability Officer at Petronas; Prashant Ruia, Group CEO of Essar Group; and Massimo Danieli, CEO of Business Unit Grid Automation at Hitachi Energy.
The scale of Asian participation reflects the region’s expanding role in shaping global energy demand. China is forecast to account for close to half of worldwide electricity demand growth through 2030, while India is expected to remain the single largest contributor to global energy demand growth through 2035. Southeast Asia is projected to contribute around a quarter of global energy demand growth through 2035, driven by industrialisation, urbanisation and digitalisation.

Conference programming will address themes central to Asia’s energy transition, including natural gas and LNG supply diversification, grid and infrastructure capacity, energy finance, maritime logistics and the integration of artificial intelligence into energy systems. New Leadership Dialogues will include a session on integrating renewables and gas in high-growth power systems, and a boardroom roundtable on Asia’s role in shaping global technology innovation.

Hosted by ADNOC and held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, ADIPEC 2026 takes place from 2 to 5 November and is expected to welcome more than 239,000 attendees.
