The UAE will celebrate Flag Day on Monday, November 3, with ceremonies taking place across the country at 11AM when the national flag will be raised at ministries, government entities and institutions.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has called on citizens, residents and all institutions to raise the flag at the designated time.
Flag Day is observed annually as an occasion for Emiratis and residents to express their loyalty to the nation and its leadership whilst renewing their commitment to the principles of the Founding Fathers.
In a post on X, Sheikh Mohammed said: “Brothers and sisters, on 3rd November we will celebrate Flag Day, an annual occasion on which we renew our pledge, reaffirm our loyalty and express our love for the UAE flag, the symbol of our sovereignty and flag of our union.”
The occasion represents the UAE’s values of coexistence and peace among citizens and residents. The celebrations reinforce the country’s position as a beacon of tolerance and harmony in the region.
