France are through to the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a narrow 1-0 victory over Paraguay, with Kylian Mbappé converting a penalty in the 70th minute to settle the round of 16 tie.
The goal came after a VAR review, with Mbappé stepping up to send France into the last eight.
Their reward is a meeting with Morocco, who also advanced on Saturday after beating Canada 3-0. The two sides will face each other on 9 July in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
