Valeo Health, a UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar-based platform for at-home testing and guided health programmes, has processed 1 million orders since its founding five years ago. To mark the anniversary, the company has released findings drawn from anonymised data across its user base.
The numbers suggest most people don’t know they carry a health risk until they test for one. Among first-time users, 66 per cent were found to have high cholesterol and 33 per cent had elevated HbA1c levels. Separately, 75 per cent of users who enrolled in Valeo’s weight management programmes had a BMI above 25 at the start.
The outcomes data is more encouraging. Of users who retested, 47.6 per cent saw cholesterol levels improve. Those on a guided weight loss programme lost an average of 20 per cent of body weight. And 47 per cent saw HbA1c improve within 3–4 months on Valeo’s Berberine+ programme. The company says 42 per cent of users also improved their Longevity Score upon retesting.
“Nearly one million health orders later, the data tells a clear story: many people are living with health risks they don’t know they have. The encouraging part is that when people understand their health and take action, those markers improve. The biggest risk isn’t getting a bad result – it’s never testing in the first place,” Nadin Karadag, COO & Co-Founder of Valeo Health said in a statement.
Over the past year, Valeo has added doctor-guided peptide therapy, newborn care, postpartum wellness, hair growth treatment and advanced functional testing to its offering, alongside expanded corporate health solutions.
“We’ve been focused on longevity for the past five years, long before it became a mainstream healthcare conversation. The launch of the Dubai Longevity Authority reflects a growing shift toward prevention and healthy ageing. Our own data shows that when people receive personalised support, they can meaningfully improve their long-term health.” “These outcomes are powered by a combination of AI-driven health insights, wearable integration, continuous monitoring and guidance from our doctors, nutritionists and functional medicine experts delivered through the Valeo Health App,” Sundeep Sahni, CEO & Co-Founder of Valeo Health added.
