The Governorate of Dhofar has signed a contract with the Oman Ministry of Energy and Minerals to establish the Ateen Natural Park project in the Wilayat of Salalah, at a cost of more than four million Omani riyals.

Signing on behalf of the company implementing the project were Hafeez bin Salem Al-Haddad, and Abdullah bin Mubarak Al-Shukaili, Head of Social Responsibility, representing Petroleum Development Oman.

The agreement falls within efforts “aimed at enhancing the tourism and entertainment assets in Dhofar Governorate, supporting sustainable development and social responsibility initiatives, and improving the quality of life.
